• Premium E308L-16 stainless steel stick welding electrode rods.
• AWS Classification: A5.4 E308L-16. Core rod: 1/8" (3.2mm) dia. x 14" (350mm) length. 80,000 psi tensile strength.
• Excellent for welding 18Cr-8Ni stainless steels AISI Types 301, 302, 304, 304L and 305, etc.
• Features smooth running arc with a uniform weld bead and good performance under severe conditions like oxidizing acids and cold or dilute-reducing acids. Its low carbon content will reduce carbide precipitation thus increase the resistance to inter-granular corrosion.
• Kept as dry as possible and may need rebaked before use. Heating and cooling should be carried out slowly.
