• AWS Classification: ER347. Conforms to AWS A5.9/ASME SFA-A5.9.
• Rod size: 3/32" (2.4mm) dia. x 36" (915mm) length. Single end stamping (0.045" and below may be without stamp).
• Typical Element Content (wt%) in Product: C<=0.04; Cr=19.5; Ni=9.5-10.0; Nb=0.40; Mo=0.3; Cu=0.1; Si=0.40; Mn=1.30; P<0.030; S<0.030; Fe=balance.
• ER347 is used for welding AISI types 321 and 347 alloys where maximum corrosion resistance is required. The addition of Niobium (Nb) reduces intergranular corrosion in severe operating conditions. For applications where welds are subjected to higher temperatures.
